ARTICLE 1
Shall the voters approve an annual General Fund Budget in the amount of $12,004,124 for fiscal year July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, $11,110,346 of which is to be levied in taxes against the City Grand List?

Shall the voters of the City of Essex Junction set the property tax exemption for disabled veterans at Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00), as allowed by 32 § 3802(11)(C), said exemption to remain in effect for future taxable years until amended or repealed by the voters?

Shall the voters approve extending the one cent Capital Improvement tax (also known as Economic Development tax), as established in 2016, to be reconsidered at annual meeting in 2027.

2024 Annual Meeting
The legal voters of the Essex Westford Educational Community Unified Union School District #51 (hereafter "Essex Westford School District") comprising the voters of the City of Essex Junction, Town of Essex (outside of Village), and the Town of Westford are hereby notified and warned to meet at 7:00pm on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Essex High School on Educational Drive, in the auditorium of said school, to transact any of the following business and to take action upon the following articles not involving Australian Ballot:

**The meeting shall then be recessed to Tuesday, April 9, 2024, for the purpose of voting Articles 7-13 by Australian ballot at the respective polling places hereinafter named between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm.**
